The application deadline for all International Office scholarships for the summer semester 2024 has ended. Applications for the winter semester 2024/25 are expected to be possible from mid-July.

Scholarships awarded by the International Office
International students can apply for a scholarship of the International Office.
Because of this scholarship, my heavy financial load has been lightened. I hope in turn to one day be able to give back and help other students and those most in need to achieve their goals. Thank you again for this incredible gift.
How does the application process work?
Step 1:
- You apply online via the application portal with your complete application documents. You will find the access link and the application deadline in the respective scholarship description.
- You will then receive a confirmation that we have received your application, and an application number.
Step 2:
- The International Office checks whether your application is complete. Only complete applications can be considered. There is NO extension period.
- A committee will then evaluate your application and decide on the awarding of the scholarships. The following criteria will be considered:
- academic achievements
- motivation
- financial situation
- letter of recommendation
- social commitment
- form and layout of the application documents
Step 3:
- We inform you about the decision of the selection committee shortly before the beginning of the semester.
- If your application is successful, you will expect to receive your first payment at the beginning of the semester.
