Offers of the Psychological Student Counselling (also for researchers)

The Psychological Student Counselling Service provides support in dealing with personal concerns or problems. (International) researchers are also welcome.

Social counseling for employees

RUB employees can receive counselling here on conflicts at work, psychological distress, addiction-related problems and other topics.

Ombudsperson of the RUB Research School

The RUB Research School offers all doctoral students advice and support regarding their doctorate. In addition, the ombudsperson is the direct contact person for personal and confidential advice.

Nightline Bochum

The Nightline is a service offered by UniverCity Bochum for students by students. All students (including PhD students) can use the service to talk about their worries anonymously and without judgment.

The Nightline does not offer psychological counseling or therapy but is happy to refer you to other contact points in Bochum if required.

The Nightline is available Tuesday to Friday, 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. by phone (0177 6761859) or via chat. The service is free of charge.
