Liaison Offices of the University Alliance Ruhr
To promote international cooperation, the University Alliance Ruhr has set up three liaison offices for the regions of Eastern Europe/Central Asia (EECA), North America and Latin America.
As branch offices of the Ruhr universities, the offices work to raise the profile of the Ruhr region in these key regions, to promote the exchange of students and academics and to establish networks in research and teaching.
UA Ruhr Liaison Office North America
The UA Ruhr Office in New York, centrally located in Manhattan, strengthens the network between the three Alliance universities and North American academic institutions. The mission of UA Ruhr New York is to facilitate and promote innovative transatlantic collaborations in research and teaching between UA Ruhr universities and partners in North America.
UA Ruhr Liaison Office Latin America
The UA Ruhr Office for Latin America is located in the German House for Research and Innovation (DWIH) in Sao Paolo, Brazil. It represents the UA Ruhr universities throughout Latin America and supports the initiation and implementation of cooperation with institutions in Brazil and Spanish-speaking countries.
UA Ruhr Office Eastern Europe/Central Asia (EECA)
The UA Ruhr Liaison Office Eastern Europe/Central Asia (ADC) is the point of contact for researchers, students and alumni of the University Alliance who are interested in the ADC region, would like to initiate cooperation or need support with ongoing projects. It is also the UA Ruhr's first point of contact for partners and interested parties from the region.
