Joint Liaison Offices of the University Alliance Ruhr
Within the framework of the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr), the RUB is present at two locations with academic liaison offices – in New York and Moscow.
As branch offices of the Ruhr universities, the offices work to raise the profile of the Ruhr region in these key regions, to promote the exchange of students and academics and to establish networks in research and teaching.
UA Ruhr Office New York
The UA Ruhr Office New York, centrally located in Manhattan, strengthens the network between the three Alliance universities and American academic institutions. The mission of UA Ruhr New York is to facilitate and promote innovative transatlantic collaborations in research and teaching between UA Ruhr universities and partners in North America.
UA Ruhr Office Eastern Europe/Central Asia (EECA)
The Liaison Office Eastern Europe/Central Asia (EECA) is the direct contact for researchers, students and alumni of the UA Ruhr who are interested in the region of Eastern Europe/Central Asia, would like to initiate cooperations or need support for ongoing projects. It is also the first point of contact for those interested in the UA Ruhr's offers from the region. We help those seeking to initiate cooperation and support ongoing projects. We are also the first point of contact for students and professional researchers coming from EECA countries interested in the many and diverse opportunities offered by the UA Ruhr.
