Erasmus additional funding

Erasmus is dedicated to promoting sustainability, equal opportunities and inclusion. Therefore, scholars can apply for various "top-ups" in addition to the regular Erasmus funding rates.

Green Travel

If at least 50 percent of your mobility are covered by "Green Travel", you can apply for the top-up for Green Travel.

The outbound and/or return journey to and/or from the host institution will be by environmentally friendly means of transportation (train, bus, carpooling) as part of the planned Erasmus+ stay. Between one and a maximum of six additional travel days are possible. For three or more days of travel, a written explanation must be submitted.

You can apply for the Erasmus top-up for Green Travel by using the honorary declaration on stustainable travel/"Green Travel". Please upload the completed form in your online grant application for an Erasmus+ study or Erasmus+ internship.
