RUB supports its refugee students on their way to a successful degree with an extensive range of counselling services.
For international and refugee students, the International Office is often the first point of contact. The so-called RUBiss Team (RUB international student services) offers support in university, social and cultural as well as in administrative and legal matters.

If you have any questions about the choice of subject or would like to find out about the possibilities of changing your subject, please contact the Student Advice Centre.

If you have any questions about how you can finance your studies or how you should insure yourself as a student, please contact the office of Funding and Social Affairs of the Student Advice Centre or visit the "open consultation hours".
Unfortunately, due to the Corona pandemic, in-person office hours cannot be held on campus at this time. However, we can be reached via email (sozialberatung@rub.de) and are also happy to make an appointment for video (Skype or Zoom) or phone consultations. Please briefly describe your concerns in the email.
