Ruhr Fellows Buddy Program 2023: Get involved, expand your network!

Would you like to meet new people, improve your English skills and gain intercultural experience? The International Office is looking for "buddies" to accompany students from the USA during their first steps in Bochum and at the Ruhr University.

Unfortunately, registration is no longer possible.

Your tasks as Ruhr Fellows Buddy

Accompanying and supervising the participants of the Ruhr Fellowship Program during two weeks of Cultural Immersion in the first half of June 2023:

Monday, 15 May 2023, 6:30 pm - ca. 7:00 pm, Preparatory meeting via Zoom
First weekend of June 2023, individual times, Welcome/Pick up at the airport or train station
Monday, 5 June 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Speed Friending & Lunch at the Ruhr University
Monday, 12 June 2023, individual times, Trip to the internship facility in the Ruhr area
Further optional Buddy events in June and July

Even if you are not able to attend all events, we look forward to your participation!

It would be desirable, if the Buddies were available as regular contact persons for the Ruhr Fellows throughout the whole program from the beginning of June to the end of July. We look forward to your participation!
