Apply now for a PROMOS grant! PROMOS is a scholarship program funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Ruhr University Bochum (RUB).

Information for Students

RUB students from all departments can apply for PROMOS if they are planning

a study abroad semester via an exchange program of the International Office or the faculties/institutes at a RUB partner university (except in Erasmus countries)
a research stay abroad to write their thesis
an internship abroad (except in Erasmus countries)

Information for Lecturers

Teaching staff of Ruhr University Bochum can apply for PROMOS funding of field trips with a number of participants of 5 to 15 students and PhD candidates. If you are interested, please don't hesitate to contact the International Office.
