In the current submission round, free to apply are students of all departments who are planning a study abroad semester within an exchange programme of Ruhr-Universität Bochum (except for Erasmus) in the summer semester 2022, a stay abroad in order to write their thesis or to do an internship (except for Erasmus member states) in the year 2022.

New Submission Deadline! PROMOS Scholarships for Stays Abroad in 2022
Apply now for a PROMOS grant. Within the framework of the programme funded by the DAAD and the BMBF, Ruhr-Universität Bochum supports short-term stays abroad of its students.
Current application deadline: 1 November 2021
Information for Lecturers
Teaching staff of Ruhr-Universität Bochum can apply for PROMOS funding of field trips with a number of participants of 5 to 15 students and PhD candidates. If you are interested, please don't hesitate to contact the International Office.
There are two more application deadlines for PROMOS funding of stays abroad in the year 2022: 1 March 2022 and 1 June 2022.
