The University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr) is an alliance of Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen. The UA Ruhr Liaison Office New York represents these three universities in the USA and Canada in order to intensify cooperation with North American partner universities and to initiate as well as sustain transatlantic collaborations.

Internship from October 2025 until April 2026 at UA Ruhr in New York
The North American liaison office of the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr) is looking for an intern for the period October 2025 until April 2026. UA Ruhr offers a scholarship of up to US$ 1,500.00 per month. Beyond that, it is possible to apply for a PROMOS grant.

Every year, the UA Ruhr offers students in later semesters who are enrolled at one of the three UA Ruhr universities the opportunity to do an internship in the office in New York City. You will gain an insight into the work of the liaison office and UA Ruhr, participate in the planning and implementation of events and visits to trade fairs, and you will support the development of new information offerings. You will also actively participate in the implementation of the Transatlantic Ruhr Fellowship Program.
