Please find out which testing and/or quarantine regulations apply to you before entering Germany.

The current regulations on quarantine and isolation can be found on the website of the city of Bochum.

You will spend the period of home quarantine in your own accommodation. You may not leave your apartment/room without the permission of the Health Department. You may not receive visits from anyone who is not a member of your own household or allow anyone else into your home. Please clarify with your host department in which way they can support you during your quarantine period.

After your arrival in Germany, take the direct route to your accommodation.

For assistance with grocery shopping, you can contact the Bochum Volunteer Agency (English contact available):

• +49 234 6105 77 80, Mo bis Fr von 10 bis 16 Uhr

The agency will arrange a volunteer to assist you with shopping. You have to pay for the shopping in advance, the service is free of charge. You can also search for local delivery service offers on the website of the city of Bochum.

Please observe the mask requirement in the guest houses and try to keep a distance of 1.5 m from other people.
