TetianaGorokhova is a Philipp Schwartz Initiative Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) in Bochum, transitioning in April 2026 to a Research Management Officer position at the same institution.
Displaced from Ukraine to Germany in February 2022, she brings both scholarly and lived perspectives to questions of academic exile and trauma-informed mentoring.
Her recent work includes an autoethnographic chapter on the invisible labour of stability among displaced academics in postmigrant European academia, contributions to Council of Europe publications on trauma-informed youth work and social cohesion, and active involvement in the Erasmus+ SAFE LEARN project on trauma-sensitive education in higher education.
She serves as Institutional Principal Investigator for HEI-TRAIN and SAFE LEARN at CAIS.
