In the current submission round, free to apply are students of all departments who are planning a study abroad semester within an exchange programme of Ruhr-Universität Bochum (except for Erasmus) in the summer semester 2023, a stay abroad in order to write their thesis or to do an internship (except for Erasmus member states) in the year 2023.

PROMOS: scholarships for stays abroad in 2023
Apply now for a PROMOS grant! Within the framework of the programme funded by the DAAD and the BMBF, Ruhr-Universität Bochum supports short-term stays abroad of its students.
Current application deadline: 1 November 2022
(further deadlines for PROMOS 2023: 1 March and 1 June 2023)
Information for lecturers
Teaching staff of Ruhr University Bochum can apply for PROMOS funding of field trips with a number of participants of 5 to 15 students and PhD candidates. If you are interested, please don't hesitate to contact the International Office.
