Study preparation for parents with and without a refugee background
Ruhr University Bochum offers the online-based program Studienspur-Digital especially for parents and people with care responsibilities. This makes it easy to combine family and study preparation.
The Studienspur-Digital prepares international prospective students in a variety of ways for studying at the Ruhr-Universität. Participants not only learn German, but also study-relevant skills. Find out more about the goals and content of the program here:

The Studienspur-Digital begins with an onboarding on the Ruhr-Universität campus. During the onboarding you will get to know the RUB, the Studienspur and the International Office better. The German courses then start. After successfully completing the C1 course, the International Office will assist you with your application and the start of your studies.
During onboarding, you will get to know the Ruhr-Universität and attend three weeks of workshops and tutorials. The Study Track Digital Onboarding consists of face-to-face events on the Ruhr-Universität campus and is supplemented by online events:

You will be accompanied by student tutors who will be available to you as contact persons.
The Studienspur-Digital includes an online German course 3 days a week. In addition to lessons, the course also offers self-study phases on the Moodle learning platform.
