If you are interested in doing an internship (e.g. Erasmus) at Ruhr University Bochum, first find out whether there are internship opportunities suitable for you in the corresponding faculty. Here you will find a list of all faculties at RUB and their websites.
You must apply for an internship with your faculty of choice directly, as the International Office does not arrange internships.
For internship inquiries, we recommend that you send the following documents with your application directly:
- CV / Curriculum Vitae (German or English)
- Letter of motivation (including a short description of your field of interest)
- Acquired certificates (if available)
Once you have received an internship offer and found a suitable supervisor, there is nothing standing in the way of your internship at the Ruhr Uni!
Please remember that you will need health insurance for the duration of your internship, which is mandatory in Germany.
Furthermore, it is recommended to take out accident insurance as well as liability insurance, which covers the costs of unintentionally caused damage.
