International Welcome
Staff from the International Office welcome the new students to Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) at the International Welcome, accompanied by the Rector himself in the Winter Semester.
Various university institutions such as AkaFö (responsible for accommodation etc.), the Centre for Foreign Language Training and AStA (General Students’ Committee) are present at this event. International student representatives from AStA introduce themselves, talk about what they have to offer and are present at information stands to chat to you and answer any questions you have.
The RUBiss team presents the semester and excursion programme and you will have the opportunity to get to know other students in a relaxed atmosphere at the buffet afterwards.
- The International Welcome reception for the Summer Semester 2012 will take place on Friday 13 April 2012 at 3:00pm in the Veranstaltungszentrum.
