Rooms in the halls of residence for exchange students
The International Office offers a special service for Erasmus students and students from partner universities. You can book accommodation through us for the duration of your exchange (1-2 semesters).
Rooms are provided in the halls of residence run by AkaFö (Akademisches Förderungswerk) which are located close to the campus.
The rooms are furnished and costs for gas, electricity, heating and internet are included. The rent is about 270 euros per month depending on the location.
Since the International Office can only reserve a limited number of rooms for exchange students, you should register early and be flexible.
How to make a reservation...
When you're completing the pre-enrolment, please tick "yes" when asked "reservation of accommodation" and fill out the "reservation request form" you find on this page (on the right). Send the signed form back to us via post, fax or email attachment.
Please note: Rooms can only be booked for a complete month and not for single days! The exception is if you arrive in mid-March or mid-September. You'll then only be charged rent for half of the month!
We'll send you confirmation of your registration as soon as possible after we've received your completed application for accommodation
Rooms have to be booked for a least 2 months. The necessary period of notice when moving out is 2 months!
