Costs
Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) charges no tuition fees. However, a social security contribution of approx. 250 euros per semester must be paid. You should also take into consideration that you have to pay for accommodation, clothes and food, and we recommend putting aside approx. 650 euros per month for this. You may also have to spend some extra money on books at the beginning of the semesters and during the examination period.
Please keep this in mind when you are planning your studies!
