The International Office offers programmes with language and specialised courses as well as propaedeutic events, Integra and the Übergangssemester, for prospective students without a refugee background to prepare them for their studies at Ruhr University Bochum.
Integra
Are you currently enrolled in an A2 or B1 German language course at the Department of German as a Foreign Language and would like to start your studies at Ruhr University Bochum afterwards? You would like to prepare yourself for your studies in the best way possible? Then apply now for the study preparation programme Integra!
Übergangssemester
You have already passed your final German examination qualifying you for your studies in Germany (e.g. TestDaF, telc C1 Hochschule or DSH II or III), but have not yet been able to apply for studies at Ruhr University Bochum?
The Übergangssemester offers participants the opportunity to use the time between their German examination and the start of their studies to attend preparatory language as well as specialised courses and lectures.
