Erasmus
The ERASMUS mobility programme was founded by the European Union in 1987. RUB has long taken part in this programme.
ERASMUS consists of many different activities; student and teacher exchanges, joint development of study programmes (Curriculum Development), international intensive programmes, thematic networks between departments and faculties across Europe, language courses (EILC), European credit transfer system (ECTS).

Student exchange - outgoing
The ERASMUS student exchange programme enables students to spend 3-12 months at a european partner university during their studies.

ERASMUS-Traineeships
Through the ERASMUS-programme, the RUB can grant students scholarships for an traineeship abroad in the European Union.

Teachers' exchange
Through the ERASMUS-programme, RUB teachers can spend up to six weeks teaching at an ERASMUS-partner-university.

Student exchange - incoming
Every year over 350 exchange students study at RUB. Most of these are taking part in the Erasmus program.

Intensive Language Course
Students participating in the ERASMUS Program have the possibility to attend an Intensive Language Course in less widely spoken European languages.

Staff exchange
Staff of the university administration can spend 1-6 weeks abroad through the ERASMUS-programme.
